EXR has been hard at work — this is our 2022 wrap up.
The last year has been an incredibly interesting ride, but here we are now at the end of 2022 — still building and still excited for what’s to come at EXR.
🔥 With the new year coming up, we’ve had some time to reflect on some of our top 10 highlights for EXR in 2022;
1. Launched the EXR Mint Console for 3 different mints — Pilots, Racecrafts and Boosters (mint.exiledracers.com)
2. Dropped the EXR Viewer with High Res downloads (view.exiledracers.com) lore and NFT attributes
3. Leaked all Pilot & Racecraft attribute details in prep for Bonus game
4. Console Easter Eggs + Space Invaders — for incredible banter.
5. Revealed our Encrypted Message Center (msg.exiledracers.com) for secret message drops
6. Announced New Pilot Role in discord with #EXRSmartBot in prep for racing
7. Designed our New EXR Homepage onboarding experience
8. Rewarded holders with a 24 Hour EXR Training Pass airdrop for training access.
9. Launched our EXR Training teaser to sneak some visuals in for the bonus game — slightly cinematic, but we had to.
10. Leaked some Early Alpha on the EXR Training
But that was then — this is now…
For those of you that don’t know — we have been working hard on a few big ticket items in preparation for the bonus game launch;
— Firstly a few weeks ago we opened up the EXR Bonus game 24 hour Training to our incredible Mods for early feedback and testing — it’s been grand, but plenty to do.
— Since then, we’ve had thousands of exciting training races — and in fact from this Mod feedback round alone, we decided to launch a number of new updates and features (behind closed doors);
— These new updates and features are now ones that our community will get the benefits of experiencing as soon as we launch.
— The final push for the EXR 24 hour training is making sure we have browser optimized game ready EXR assets that allow for a smooth and exciting experience.
— In parallel, we’ve also been hard at work integrating with a few key tech partners that will help us create a bonus game that runs smoothly and has that “little bit extra.”
— Planning has also been top of mind for the team — outside of just building, we have been prepping for the exciting road ahead in 2023. Plenty of exciting items to come.
🏁 So wen Bonus Training? Well, If you’ve been in or plan to be on our Discord channel, we’ve been doing surprise LIVE racing with all our mods showing off the Bonus Training in the VC chat channel. Right now It’s really just optimizing and finalizing the in game assets — so very soon™
Finally — a huge, huge thank you to everyone who has supported the EXR team as we poured our hearts and souls into this project. 2022 has not been easy for anyone to say the least, but we are grateful for all of you who have been checking in and being active in our community.
