We are entering a web 3.0 Play-to-Earn boom; with games like Axie Infinity, Gods Unchained and more — there has been an incredible rise in the number and popularity of web 3.0 games. Gaming and e-sports constitutes of an estimated 500M fans while the crypto market represents around 300m users — and its said that ~50% of these two markets overlap.
Exiled Racers (previously CSR) plans to bring the gaming, esports and web 3.0 market together with an all new low-touch high-reward NFT racing manager and rewards game. Built by a team of highly experienced technologists, designers and in collaboration with Moonbeam Network, Exiled Racers intends to make gaming in web 3.0 addictive, simple and truly rewarding for the “time poor, fun addicts” — starting with breathtaking utility NFTs.

Exiled Racers makes one thing clear: it’s a design-first NFT project that refuses to settle for anything less than world-class. When developing EXR, as a team we decided very early that we didn’t just want another 8888 Fiver NFT project — so we hunted for the best and once we found Luke, Nil and Sanju from Estudi-Image creative design house in NYC (Adidas, Samsung, Salomon, Pfizer, Apple, etc.) — we pitched to them, they loved the concept and we made them partners on the spot.
The EXR design team has since spent months creating — what can only be described as — breathtaking, limited run, hyper-realistic NFTs that attempt to redefine what quality and intricacy means for NFT design. Each of these NFTs has also been carefully created in galactic “factions” eg. Serfs, Augments (info to come) — with unique attributes designed specifically for the bonus EXR racing game.

At its core — EXR is a stunning, high fidelity creative NFT project. However, EXR NFT holders will also get bonus access to the EXR racing manager game, whereby users can race against friends for big pot prizes and rare NFTs. Users compete by building and selecting their best possible NFT “racing stack” (Pilot, Racecraft & Booster) before each race and duking it out for NFT loot and in-game currency.
However during our feasibility studies — we were puzzled by the current web 3.0 tech for games — which is why we looked to build on the Moonbeam Network. Moonbeam is an EVM-compatible chain — a Polkadot parachain with incredibly powerful capabilities, allowing developers to deliver fast, low-cost, secure experiences — exactly what the EXR game requires. In addition, it brings with it the full potential and interoperability of Polkadot’s ecosystem. What’s most exciting is that — because of this collaboration — the team is already running an Alpha for the game in preparation for main net launch later this year.
Low-touch, high-reward mechanics — for the time poor, fun addicts
Since 2020, thousands of play and earn games have been launched into the space — however many of these games are either overly complex, require incredible game knowledge/understanding, or are simply too difficult to onboard.
This is how the EXR game is different. It’s designed for users who just don’t have time anymore — but still miss engaging with friends in fun competitive ways as they once did. With EXR you wont need to spend hours on end grinding or learning intricate game tactics or dynamics — it’s designed with low-touch, high-reward game mechanics. The gameplay is simple — check your daily race track or upcoming tournaments (or invite friends to race), enter your best racing stack, win in-game currency or rare NFT loot.
To keep it interesting — users will also unlock access to rewards as they race, and become eligible for rare drops and in game currency earning boosters.

EXRs team of web 3.0 technologists, commercial specialists and creative developers (Yieldly, Google, LinkedIn, MediaMonks) have already established their credibility with backing from great partners. To name just a few, Moonbeam, Recess Dao, Biconomy, Zeitgeist, and 0x Ventures have supported the Exiled team throughout the development of the game.
